Admission Letter of Lionello Perera to Ca’ Foscari

Dated October 31, 1886, the admission letter of Lionello Perera is signed by Prof. Francesco Ferrara, founder and director of the Regia Scuola Superiore di Commercio at Ca’ Foscari in Venice.
Probably taken in New York and dating to the early 1900s. This photographic portrait was used in a cut-down version for the alumni bulletin of Ca’ Foscari, which started to be printed in 1899.
Probably dating to the late nineteenth century showing a sign on the canal entrance door of the building saying “R. Scuola Superiore di Commercio”, plus a handwritten note on the lower edge stating “Palazzo Foscari Venezia”
